Dual energy CT (DECT) is our new acquisition and baby on the Siemens Definite Edge TwinBeam scanner. Using Gold and Tin filters, simultaneous dual energy acquisitions are possible. This opens up a host of possibilities as shown in the image. We will highlight newer indications over the next few weeks.
